ORDERING & SALE TERMS and CONDITIONS

CONDITION OF SALE
All sales are final and all products sold by USA Auto , hereinafter referred to as “Seller”, are sold “as-is” to Buyer.

 

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND ACCEPTANCE
All orders placed with the seller (email, mail, phone, fax and in person) constitutes the acknowledgement and acceptance of any and all of Seller’s terms and conditions.

 

Credits, Refunds, or Exchanges :  Any item being returned for credit, refund, or exchange must be accompanied by a copy of the invoice showing the item, or the invoice number supplied at time of return.  Credits, refunds, exchanges, and warrantees will be accepted from the buyer at the discretion of General Auto Parts, and will be subject to a handling charge of 30% plus any cost incurred to return the item to the warehouse or manufacturer.

No item will be accepted for credit, refund, or exchange if it is not in new, resalable condition, or if the item’s packaging is soiled, damaged, or missing, and/or the factory seal has been broken or tampered with, and/or components or instructions are missing, and/or if the item has been disassembled.

Electrical and Fuel System items will be accepted for exchange only (no refund or credit), and only for a like item (i.e. carburetor for carburetor, alternator for alternator, etc) fitting a like vehicle (similar make, model, and year as the original item being returned).  Carburetors must not be removed from its original inner shrink wrap packaging.

Refund or Credit of Cores (“Old Units”) will only be accepted if the core is in re-buildable condition and complete.  No credit or refund will be given if the core is not returned in the original packaging.  Cores that have not been completely drained of the internal fluids will not be accepted for return (except wet cell batteries that are not leaking).

Disclaimer of Warranties :  The only warranties applying to the products or services are those which may be offered by the manufacturer.  USA Purchasing Corpexpressly disclaim all warrantees, either expressed or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose or application, and neither assumes nor authorizes any other person to assume for it any liability in connection with the sale of any products or services.

Installers Responsibility: It is the installer’s responsibility to ensure replacement parts are comparable to parts being replaced. USA Purchasing Corpassumes no responsibility or liability for damages resulting from the installation of non-comparable parts. Any liability for consequential and/or incidental damages is expressly disclaimed.

Limitation of Liability:   Any liability for consequential and/or incidental damages is expressly disclaimed.  USA Purchasing Corpliability in all events is limited to, and shall not exceed the purchase price paid.  USA Purchasing Corpdisclaim any liability for product defect claims that are due to product misuse, improper product selection or misapplication, and any descriptions do not express or imply a warranty that the products are merchantable or fit a particular purpose.

Batteries

A battery that is simply low on charge is not a defective battery, and cannot be replaced under warranty.  If a battery purchased from USA Purchasing Corphas been discharged, we will gladly recharge and test it at no cost at our location (limited to three free re-charges).

There are many reasons batteries are discharged.  The five most common causes are:

Ø  Dirty, corroded, or broken connections, cables, or battery terminals

Ø  Lights or accessories left “on”, or a open circuit in the vehicle

Ø  Loose or missing fan belt

Ø  Charging system failures (alternator, voltage regulator, fuse, etc.)

Ø  Vehicle has not been driven sufficiently to keep battery charged

Batteries must be fully charged to be properly tested.  It may take up to ten hours to charge a battery that has been discharged. Most economy or older style battery chargers are not able to recharge batteries that have been fully discharged.  We use a modern computerized charging system that is capable of properly recharging and testing any battery, even if it has been fully discharged.  The battery manufactures require that a battery being considered for warranty is first fully charged.

Battery technology has changed in the last few years.  Older style battery testers and some current style testers can give incorrect test results for the newer technology batteries.  Our battery tester is capable of accurately testing both new and old technology batteries.

Bulging on the side of the battery and/or fluid discharging from the caps usually indicates that the battery has been overcharged, and is typically caused by a faulty charging system.  Overcharging can lead to the premature failure of the battery, and can void the battery’s warranty.

Batteries may not be returned for credit, refund, or exchange once purchased.  The only exception is an uninstalled battery that doesn’t fit the vehicle it was sold for may be exchanged for a battery fitting a similar year, make and model.

In all cases the manufacturer’s warranty is the only warranty that will be honored for batteries.  Most battery warrantees are pro-rated warrantees, meaning that the customer may be charged a proportional amount depending on how long the battery was in service before it failed.

 

 

 

 

BRAKE FRICTION PRODUCTS WARRANTY

Limited Brake Friction Products (Pads and Shoes) Warranty Policy Statement:

The warranty on brake friction products (pads and shoes) is limited to manufacturer defects only. The warranty does not cover friction products with normal wear.  Friction material that has worn unevenly, or defects caused by other faulty vehicle components or improper installation are not covered under this warranty. (Uneven wear is caused by other brake system problems.)  This warranty is limited to an over-the-counter exchange of the defective friction material. Any claim for warranty must be accompanied by the original purchase receipt.

Exceptions for NAPA “AE” Branded Brake Pads Purchased at this location:

NAPA “AE” Branded Brake Pads sold at this location before December 31, 2008 had a Limited lifetime warranty that would allow up to one free over-the counter exchange of the pads for normal wear, and lifetime replacement due to manufacturer defects.  Friction material that has worn unevenly or defectives caused by improper installation or other faulty components are not covered under this warranty. This warranty is limited to an over-the-counter exchange of the defective friction material. Pads installed on commercial or fleet vehicles will not be replaced under the “one free replacement” portion of this warrantee. Pads with more 2/32” of friction material remaining or 1/32” of friction material remaining above the top of the rivets will not be replaced under the “one free replacement” portion of this warrantee. This warranty only applies to NAPA AE pads that are properly marked by the manufacturer with the “AE” edge-code identification markings.  This warranty is non-transferable.

 

This warranty is still in place for NAPA AE pads purchased at our location, and will be honored by us even though NAPA no longer manufactures AE Pads and has discontinued the portion of this warranty which allows a free replacement for pads with normal wear.  We are extending this warranty on our own and at our own expense as NAPA will no longer issue credit to us for any items replaced under this warranty.  The “one free replacement” can only be performed at this location, and no refunds will be issued.

 

The following applies to NAPA AE warranties:

Customer (Wholesale and Retail Customers) must present the ORIGINAL invoice showing purchase of the NAPA AE pads from this location dated before 12/31/2008.  It must be the original receipt, so we can mark it to indicate that the customer has received their one-free replacement set.  Duplicate copies will not be accepted, nor any re-creation of the original receipt.

 

It is important to note that the NAPA AE pads will be replaced free-of-charge one time only if they are being replaced under the “one free replacement” portion of this warranty.  The pads will be replaced with PowerStop Premium Limited Lifetime Warranty Pads or another brand of our choice which will be the same or better quality.  If the customer wishes to have the units replaced with another brand that we stock, they may do so, but must pay the difference in the price, if any.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel your order please email orders@usaatopartsexport.com and have ‘Please Cancel Order’ as your subject. There are no cancellation for Special orders.

  • We process your order electronically meaning that your order could be processed as soon as you complete your purchase.  We do this to ensure super fast delivery to our customers.  In most cases, orders are shipped out the same day if it is received before 4pm Eastern Time.
  • We will make every effort to stop your order if it has not shipped.  Once shipped, the order falls under the returns guidelines.
  • All canceled orders will receive an 5% cancellation fee.
  • Special order products are not eligible for cancellations.

 

Returns or Exchanges

  • All returns must be accompanied by an RGA number. Please have the following information: name, order number, and date of purchase.
  • To receive an RGA number please contact orders@usaautopartsexport.com  A minimum 20% restocking fee will be charged on all returned item(s).USA Auto reserves the right to refuse any return.
  • Refunds will be issued in the same manner the order was paid for.
  • RGA numbers expire 10 days after they are issued.  Please complete the return process as promptly as possible.
  • All returns shipped back to us without an RGA number will be refused or held for pick up by client. . Please note separate RGA numbers are needed for each order.
  • Received the wrong product? Please contact support@usaautopartsexport.com within 3 days of receiving your order.
  • Items must be unused and in original undamaged packaging to receive a refund on returned items minus shipping and restocking fee.
  • Items found to be used, missing the product or/and packaging will not be refunded.
  • Special order products are non-returnable.

Ø  SPECIAL NOTE: As of 1/1/2012 all export orders with no vin # provided by client, are to be considered special order  and will not be accepted for return, or refund. For export clients or customers of parts for models not sold in US, UAPE will provide the best estimate available based on historical timeliness of manufacturer, but make no guarantees on delivery by manufacturer. (see export section for more details)

 

All orders from Central America, South America, Carribbeam or any non US country are considered Export.

 

Special Order Products

Special order products are either items that are low demand or are specially made to order (SPEC Clutches) by the customer, refurbished engines, parts for non-US models. .  We would love to stock everything but our warehouse space is limited unfortunately.  There will be no cancellations or returns for these types of items.  NO EXCEPTIONS.  I really wish this was different but it is our suppliers’ policy.  All custom/special orders are processed in a timely manner.  It usually takes 14 days for Special Order items to arrive at our warehouse, it can then be shipped to your doorstep.  Overnight and express delivery is not available on these items.  If you selected any other option, you will be accredited for the proper shipping amount.  Refusal of a Special Order package does NOT warrant a return for refund or credit.. For international orders, client is responsible for any taxes, shipping or special arrangements not mentioned on invoice.

 

Warranty Disclaimer

No warranty whatsoever will be valid if the defect was caused by customers abuse, negligence, or mishandling.  “A bigger hammer is not the answer!”  All products sold by USA Purchasing Corpis covered by the original manufacturers warranty & conditions only.  It is the sole discretion of the manufacturer to inspect and therefor issue a repair or replacement of the faulty item(s). You will be responsible for all shipping and handling fees. Additional fees may be assessed  by the manufacturers depending upon their policies.  All warranty claims should be addressed with the manufacturer of the product.  There is no warranty on electrical components, engine parts, or decals.  All products sold by USA Purchasing Corp, unless otherwise stated in the item description, are sold ‘AS-IS’.  Please note that engine modification components are for Off-Road use only except for parts bearing the proper applicable permits.  In some states, modifications to your engine are subject to fines due to environmental regulations for roadway usage, however, are accepted for race only vehicles.  Federal and many state laws prohibit the modification of any vehicle’s emission systems including, but not limited to: catalytic converters, exhaust systems
